Gabriel Garcia Marquez was born in Aracataca, bia, in 1928.

In Evil Hour, Leaf Storm and Other Stories, icle of a Death Foretold, and the iionally best-selling One Hundred Years of Solitude--he was awarded
the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982. He lives in Mexico City.
